ETTI Summary Of Tentative Agreement With County Of Sacramento June 12, 2018

1. Salary – 3% in year 1; 2 – 4% in year 2; 2 – 4% in year 3

2. LOU to meet on Engineering Technicians by 12/31/18 on comparable classes, duties, compensation and need for equity/certificate pay

3. Equity for Code Enforcement Officers of 1% in year 1; 1% in year 2; and 1% in year 3 (This is in addition to the salary increase, item #1)

4. Add CASP incentive to Building Inspectors at 5% with cap at 7½%

5. Increase Construction Inspectors certificates to 1½% with cap at 5%

6. Add Material Lab Technicians and Engineering Technician II to retention pay

7. Plans Examiner pay clarified to those Building Inspectors who review and approve plans

8. Eliminate retention pay for new hires except Code Enforcement Officers II and Senior Code Enforcement Officers effective July 2018

9. No change to 12% retirement cap

10. Add daughter/son in-law to death leave

11. Clarify that all mileage is at the IRS rate

12. Update parental leave to meet legal protections and period of use; clarify process for use in adoptions and guardianships
